What to Expect
Reading instruction using clinically proven programs from Reading With TLC will take place via 30- to 45-minute Zoom sessions. Individualized lesson plans will be created for your child depending on their skills and progress. Initially, the Lively Letters characters will be introduced; each one has embedded imagery, mouth/hand cues, a story, and more, to rapidly teach letter-sound associations. Sessions will also incorporate sound blending and reading/spelling of words. Instruction will be conducted using games and positive reinforcement, which are evidence-based tools for increasing motivation and promoting desired skills.
